A site wall puts the answers you've chosen on any page of your website, such as a wall of reviews on your home page. It only ever shows answers you've marked Show on your site, and never shows anyone's email address.
Setting up a wall
- In Collect, open Answers and click Site wall beside the form.
- Under Layout, pick Stars + list (an average rating, then a list), Wall, Grid or Carousel (a row of cards people can swipe).
- Set a Heading, an Accent colour, a light or dark Theme and a Font.
- Under What shows, and in what order, pick the Order and a Minimum rating, such as 4 stars and up.
- Click Copy and paste the code into your website where the wall should go.
On Shopify, you don't need the code. Go to Online Store → Themes → Customise, then Add block → Apps → SplashSend reviews, and type the wall's name into its Wall name setting. You can leave the name empty if only one of your forms has answers on your site. On a product page, the block shows only that product's reviews, so you don't need the product snippet below.
The preview shows the wall as it will look. If none of the form's answers are on your site yet, the preview uses them anyway, with a note, and a button to put them all on your site at once.
What people can see
Under What people can see, tick the questions whose answers are safe to show publicly. Anything you leave unticked stays private, such as a question meant only for you. Show names adds each person's first name: the one they typed, or the customer's own when the answer came through one of your emails. Both settings apply to every wall for that form.
More than one wall
A form starts with a Main wall. Click New wall to add another with its own layout, such as a carousel for your home page and a grid for a reviews page. The pencil beside a wall's name renames it. Each wall has its own code.
Reviews for one product
On a product page, you can show only that product's reviews. Under Reviews for one product, pick the product, then click Copy product snippet and paste it on that product's page. If you don't have a product catalogue in SplashSend, type the product's name as it appears on your orders instead.
Keeping it up to date
The wall updates by itself. An answer you show on your site appears on the wall without copying the code again, and an answer you take off disappears from it. Pinned answers always come first; pin them from the Answers tab.
