The box at the top of each dashboard answers questions about your results in your own words, such as "How did the welcome series do last month?" Type your question and click Ask.

An answer to a question about the Welcome series, with its figures in bold and a table of its emails.
The answer, with the figures it was worked out from.

AI writes the answer from the same figures your dashboards show, such as your sends, sales, drips, A/B tests and how your list is growing. Nobody's name or email address is ever sent to it.

Which dates it looks at

You can name the dates in your question as yesterday, today, this week, last week, this month, last month, this year or last year, as a number of days such as "the last 14 days", or as a month, such as "in September". A question without dates is about the dates the dashboard is showing.

Reading the answer

  • Figures in the answer are in bold, and some answers come with a small table.
  • The line underneath, starting Worked out from, says which figures and dates it used.
  • Where the answer fits a report, Open it as a report opens it in the report builder, and Add to with the dashboard's name puts it on the dashboard you asked from.
  • Questions you might ask next are listed under the answer. Click one to ask it, or type your own under Ask another question.

A question can be up to 500 characters long. Each one counts towards your account's AI requests for the day, 50 on the Free plan and 500 on a paid plan. If it can't answer, try asking another way, or open the card for the figure you're after.
