The Campaigns dashboard looks at every campaign and Cruise email sent in your dates. Drip emails are on the Drips dashboard.

The figures along the top

  • Emails sent: every campaign and Cruise email sent, counting one for each person, with how many campaigns and Cruise sends that was.
  • Clicks: emails in which someone clicked, and their share of every click in your dates, drips included.
  • Median click rate: the middle click rate when your sends are lined up from lowest to highest, with the lowest and highest underneath. One unusually good or bad send moves it less than it would move an average.
  • Open rate: the share of delivered emails that were opened at least once.

Sends by day

Each bar is one day's delivered emails, split into campaigns, Cruise and drips. Days follow your account's time zone. Rest the pointer on a bar to see that day's figures.

Which emails get the clicks

The top bar shows each kind of email's share of the emails delivered, and the bar under it shows each kind's share of the clicks. A sentence underneath puts the two side by side, for example "Drips sent 18% of the emails and got 31% of the clicks." A kind with a bigger share of the clicks than of the emails is doing better than its size suggests.

Every send in the period

Each row is one campaign or Cruise email, marked Campaign or Cruise, with when it went out, how many were delivered, the open rate, the click rate and the clicks. The bar beside the clicks is measured against your best send.

The table starts with the most clicks at the top. Click a column heading to sort by it, and click it again to reverse the order. To keep a copy, choose Download as a spreadsheet from the card's menu.

Click a send's name to open its own page. Click anywhere else on its row to look at it more closely below the table, and click the row again to close it.

In focus

The In focus panel shows the send you picked in three parts.

  • Path to an order: how many emails were delivered and opened, how many people clicked through and how many orders the email led to. Each step after Delivered is a share of the emails delivered, because an order doesn't need a click and blocked pictures hide some opens. The sales credited to the send are underneath.
  • Clicks after the send: a bar for each of the first 12 hours after the email went out, counting each person's first click. The sentence under it says how much of the clicking came in the first hour and, if 90% of it came within 12 hours, by which hour.
  • Where they went: the links people clicked most, counting every click.

A/B tests

Each campaign that tried two versions in your dates is shown with what it tested and how the winner was judged, such as Tested the subject line, judged on click rate. Its versions sit side by side with their emails delivered, open rates and click rates, and the version that won is marked WON. A test that hasn't picked a winner yet says Still testing.

Deliverability

This chart shows, for each day, the share of emails delivered out of those sent. It covers everything you sent, drips included. Beside it are the Average for your dates, how many emails were Undelivered, and Bounces, which counts every email that bounced, including temporary bounces such as a full inbox. If any day fell below 100%, the weakest is named under the chart.

An email counts as delivered once it has gone out without bouncing or failing. A delivered email can still land in someone's junk folder. A day well below the rest usually means a batch of old or mistyped addresses. See Bounces and spam complaints.

Sender reputation

The last card shows your bounce rate and spam complaint rate over the last 30 days, whatever dates you've picked, judged by the same lines that pause sending, and the share of your people whose emails have been stopped. If a rate needs attention, a line under the card says what to check.

More about your emails

Two ready-made reports look at all your emails together. Add either from Browse ready-made.

  • Which links get clicked? lists the links people clicked most across every email in your dates. Links that differ only in the tracking codes after a ? count together.
  • Which inboxes have trouble? shows the bounces, opens and clicks at Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and the rest. A business address that uses Google or Microsoft counts as Other.
