A goal is a figure you want to reach, such as £8,000 of sales from email this month. It sits near the top of a dashboard and shows how far you've got and whether you're on track.

Two goals for October on the Overview dashboard, one on track and one behind.

Setting one

  1. Open the dashboard you want it on and click Set a goal.
  2. Under What do you want to aim for?, pick Sales from email, People joining, Click rate or Form answers.
  3. Type the figure under How much?
  4. Under By when?, choose This month, This quarter or A date. For a date, pick the day it ends.
  5. How it will look shows the goal with today's figures. Check that Show it on names the right dashboard, then click Save goal.
The Set a goal window with sales from email picked and a preview of the goal.

A goal for this month starts again on the 1st of each month, with the same figure to aim for, and a goal for this quarter does the same each quarter.

Reading a goal

Each goal shows where it has got to, such as £4,857 of £7,500, with a bar. On a total, such as sales or people joining, a thin line on the bar marks where you'd be at an even pace, and the line underneath says roughly where you'll end up at the pace so far.

  • On track or Behind: whether a total is at or ahead of an even pace.
  • On target or Below target: whether your click rate so far is at or above the rate you set.
  • Reached or Missed: how a goal set for a date ended, once the date has passed.

A dashboard can hold up to six goals. When all of them are for this month, the heading says which month, such as Goals for October, with how many of its days have gone.

Changing or removing a goal

Click the three dots on a goal, then Change this goal or Remove this goal.

Goals are counted the same way as the cards. Sales from email counts the orders credited to your emails, and people joining leaves out imports and your shop's first sync.
