What is a drip?

A drip is an automated sequence of emails that send over time. Once someone is enrolled, they receive each email in order with wait periods between them — like a drip of water, one at a time.

Common uses

  • Welcome series — Introduce new subscribers to your brand over their first week
  • Onboarding — Guide new customers through setting up your product
  • Nurture sequence — Warm up leads with valuable content before asking for a sale
  • Post-purchase — Enrol recent customers into a follow-up sequence with tips, review requests, or related products
  • Re-engagement — Win back people who haven’t opened in a while

How it works

  1. Create a drip with a series of email steps and wait steps
  2. Design each email in the sequence
  3. Set the wait time between each email (e.g. 1 day, 3 days, 1 week)
  4. Activate the drip
  5. Enrol people — they’ll start receiving the sequence from step 1
