The Your list dashboard compares your groups: how many people each has, and how they responded to the emails sent in your dates. It includes Everyone and Subscribed, and leaves out the groups of people you never email (Hard bounces, Soft bounces, Complaints, Unsubscribed and Stopped by you).

A group's figures use the people in it today. If someone joined a group last week, the emails they had before then still count towards it.

The figures along the top

  • Groups: how many groups are compared, Everyone and Subscribed included.
  • List click rate: the click rate across every email delivered in your dates. Each group is measured against it.
  • Most engaged: the group with the highest click rate, out of groups whose people had at least three emails delivered.
  • Biggest: the largest of your own groups, with its number of people and its share of your list. Everyone and Subscribed aren't counted here.

How groups compare

Each circle is a group. The further right a circle sits, the higher its click rate, and the higher up, the higher its open rate. A bigger circle has more people. The dashed lines mark the middle of your groups' rates, so a group above and to the right of both lines is doing better than most. Rest the pointer on a circle to see its name and figures.

When two or more sizeable groups have a click rate under half your list's, an amber note names them. They suit a win-back drip, or you could leave them out of your campaigns. A group counts as sizeable when it holds at least a tenth as many people as you can email and its people had at least five emails delivered.

How groups are shifting

Lines show how the sizes of up to four groups changed over the twelve weeks to the end of your dates, starting with the ones that changed most. Each group's size is recorded once a day, and a group needs its size on two different days to get a line, so a new group's line starts on its second day.

All groups

The table lists every group, biggest first, with its number of people, its reach, its open rate and its click rate.

Reach is the share of the people you can email today who are in the group. The people you can email are those who are subscribed, whose emails haven't been stopped and who aren't on a list you've marked never to email. The number of people counts everyone in a group, including people who've unsubscribed, so Everyone has a reach of 100% even when it holds more people than you can email. One person can be in several groups, so the reaches don't add up to 100%.

More about your list

Four ready-made reports look at the people on your list. Add any of them to a dashboard from Browse ready-made.

  • Where do new people come from? counts the people who joined in your dates by what brought them, naming each sign-up form, your Shopify store and anything that adds people through the API. Imports and your shop's first sync are left out.
  • Who has gone quiet? sorts everyone you can email by how recently they last opened, clicked or bought, as their pages in People show it. It's today's picture, whatever dates you pick.
  • Why do people unsubscribe? lists the reasons people gave when they left in your dates, with spam complaints as a reason of their own.
  • How are my forms doing? shows the answers each form got in your dates, how many people joined through it and the average star rating.
